Al Shaqab Equestrian Academy launches the summer camp for ages 10-16 years, in its facilities of international standards. The summer camp aims to achieve Al Shaqab's vision and mission of building a healthy society in the State of Qatar, preserving the Qatari heritage, and promoting the equestrian sport in the community.

Strengthening the bonds between the riders and developing the good habits of the participants. Acquiring new skills in equestrianism as it aims to raise their physical fitness and increase the culture of riders in the field of equestrianism.

Providing practical lessons in horse stables and providing the affiliates with information about horse equipment, including saddle supplies, horse cleaning tools, how to use them, and all matters related to shoeing and the clinic.

Getting acquainted with the types of Arabian horse breeds present in Al Shaqab, as well as teaching them the methods of riding purebred Arabian horses and how to deal with horses.

Program Date:

  • Al Shaqab summer Academic riders camp for 10 to 16 years old begins on July 16 and continues until August 11.

Program times:

  • Within an atmosphere full of excitement, fun, education, and a patriotic spirit that loves horse riding, which includes many activities and equestrian education divided into 4 hours per day 8 am to 12 noon (6 days a week from Saturday - Thursday).

Program location:

  • The camp is located in the air-conditioned indoor Longines Arena and is accompanied by a number of highly qualified, experienced, and highly qualified equestrian trainers who will help the riders to reach the highest levels of equestrian activities.
