Sidra Medicine, Hamad Medical Corporation, and the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) are pleased to present the World Maternal Mental Health Day Conference, a hybrid event taking place virtually and face-to-face in Doha, Qatar, on 11 May, 9:00-14:00 (AST).
The theme of the day will be 'Stronger Together'; Supporting Women Worldwide on their Journey through Maternal Mental Health Care; inspired by the disparities that came to light during the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for services to develop alongside complex and evolving patient needs. The organizers invite mental health professionals and others to participate and contribute to discussions on training needs, gender-sensitive service provisions, public mental health, and developments specific to the region.
Speakers will include representatives from Sidra Medicine, Hamad Medical Corporation, the RCPsych Perinatal Faculty, and the Middle Eastern Division, the National Lead for Mental Health in Qatar, and representatives from the World Maternal Mental Health Day Taskforce, WHO, and the Global Alliance for Maternal Mental Health.
Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Obstetricians, Midwives, Social Workers, Primary Care Physicians, Mothers, and their Families.
