Come join the Qatar Green Building Council Solid Waste Interest Group's art project sponsored by The Pearl-Qatar!

When: March 23, 24, 30 and 31, 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm each day

Where: The Pearl-Qatar, Marina Gate 2

What: Take part in the creation of a HUGE piece of artwork made entirely out of plastic bottle tops! You will be sorting and preparing, painting and gluing bottle tops to the artwork under the direction of professional artist, Seana Mallen

Why?: To see the beauty & value in what we might normally throw away, to learn about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling and of course to have fun!

We also need plastic bottle tops - LOTS OF THEM! Any shape, size, colour as long as they are CLEAN and PLASTIC. Collect as many as you can and drop them off at Gympanzee in Villagio Mall, the Qatar Green Building Council Villa near Education City, or bring them on March 23.

Any one can collect bottle tops but for safety reasons, you must be over 10 years of age to take part in this event.

Children under 10 can participate in special children's activities on March 31 9am to 1pm only

March 24 9am to 12pm is reserved for girls only.
