The Doha International Exhibition Centre will be hosting the “TowerTech” expo from October 12 to15.
Over180 companies from 20 countries are expected to showcase the latest trends and innovations in tower building technologies at the event.
The four-day event being organised by the Economic Group–Qatar will be the second edition of the TowerTech expo.
The event assumes significance against the backdrop of the Middle East witnessing a construction boom, especially in Qatar, where the number of towers is expected to reach over 1,000, which brings up the necessity of presenting the latest in smart building and construction technologies into the region.
The General Manager of Economic Group – Qatar, Islam Siddiq said, “The exhibition will include some of the most famous and prominent companies from the construction technologies sector from around the world”.
“After last year’s successful exhibition, we decided to hold the expo on a yearly basis” said Siddiq, “When we decided to hold the exhibition this year, we sent out invitations for participation to many companies from many countries such as China, US, Turkey, UK and Egypt”.
The exhibition is expected to be a platform which would bring together the world’s top manufacturers and exporters, trade visitors, buyers and decision-makers from the region in the smart construction and building technologies sector.
Visitors of the expo will also get a chance to attend seminars that will introduce the latest technologies in building management system, security, and smart building technologies.
