Torba Farmers’ Markets was created by Fatma Al Kuwari, a Qatari entrepreneur who is passionate about creating a creative community of local growers and home businesses interested in health and wellbeing.
Set outdoors in the majestic Ceremonial Court of Education City, the market focuses on homegrown businesses that feature healthy or organic food, including vegan crepes, olive oil, sugar-free granola, and freshly made sourdough bread. Shoppers can relax at the custom-designed wooden tables and benches while sampling all the delicious food on offer. Torba offers more than just-food. Popular local organic companies such as Noon Nabalsy Paris, a holistic skincare company, and Baby Elephant Organic Wear, Qatar’s first organic clothing brand specifically for babies and toddlers designed with an Arabic twist.
