Do you Smoke Shisha? Are you 40 years or older?

You may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted at Hamad Medical Corporation

The purpose of this study is to find out whether Shisha smoking is harmful to the heart, the blood vessels and the lungs.

If you meet the following criteria, you will be invited to the hospital to do FULL MEDICAL CHECKUP FOR FREE.

1. The first category: Smokers of Shisha
Must be:

• Daily Shisha smoker for 10 years or more
• Never smoked a cigarette in his life
• Aged 40 years or above
• does not have any of the lung diseases (asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic), diabetes, and kidney failure

2. Second category: Never Smokers
Must be:

• Never smoked Shisha in his life
• Never smoked a cigarette in his life
• Aged 40 years or above
• does not have any of the lung diseases (asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic), diabetes, and kidney failure

Important Note: Participant must have a health card to be admitted to Hamad General Hospital for medical tests.
