Hadiqaa and CHLS invite you to plant and grow a greener Qatar by introducing you to the first Community garden, inside the Education City Micro-farm. Bring your friends and family, between 11 am - 2 pm on the 26 of February to celebrate National Environment Day.

Date and Timings:

26 February 2022

• 11 am -11:30 am: Community Garden introduction
  Come and see the garden, learn how to join, what to expect, and meet the community!
• 11:30 am - 11:35 am: Sow seeds for bees talk on biodiversity by Dr. Borbala Mifsud, Assistant Professor at College of health and life sciences, HBKU.
• 11:35 am -12 pm: It all starts with a Soil talk by Dany Deaibess @greenflix.agri, landscape and irrigation engineer
• 12 am - 1 pm: Help them fill the garden with plants!
  Bring your seeds or rooted cuttings to plant, or join HBKU students while they are planting sunflower seeds all around!
• 1 pm - 2 pm: Kids activities. Let your kids repot a small plant and take it home with them!
