Pant for Paws 2016
This inaugural event will be championed and led by Live Life Crossfit and supported by a number of other crossfit boxes and gyms in Doha. A Beach Triathlon Consisting of 3 stages: 3hrs duration:
2 categories: individual and pairs.
All athletes/pairs are split into 3 random groups and assigned a starting stage.
They are given 50mins to complete that stage where they will then ALL rotate to the next stage (whether they have successfully completed or not). There are 2 rotations, thus giving all participants the opportunity to complete all stages.
Stage 1: Sea Swim – 50mins to complete as many rounds of the designated circuit as possible. For pairs, one athlete will swim while the other rests.
Stage 2: Indoor Cycle – 50mins to cycle maximum distance. For pairs, each athlete rides max 2mins each before switching team mates. Total distance is their score.
Stage 3: Beach CrossFit – 50 mins to complete as many rounds as possible (AMRAP) of designated CrossFit movements. Score is total rounds+reps after 50mins. WOD will be announced on the day.
Each athlete/pair will be given a score after completing each stage (Winner gets 1pt, 2nd = 2pts etc). The lowest total score wins.
REGISTRATION OF 100 QR Online Via Eventbrite. Includes a Pant4PAWS Pack on Registration day. 500 QR Minimum sponsorship required of each participant.
