Eight months after the unprecedented disaster...
We, Chonmage-Tai (Samurai), want to share our experience in the disaster area with you to put you one step closer to the disaster area...

We, Chonmage-Tai, the “Samurai” support club of the Japanese National Soccer Team, have visited the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami disaster zone many times.
We are continuing our efforts in supporting the victims and the community recovery.
We’d like to share our experience with our concerned friends and supporters.
We will describe the current situation eight months after this unprecedented disaster.
In the presentation, we will show many scenes which have not been on general TV broadcasting programs, such as the reality of evacuation life, relief supply collections and deliveries, damaged town and its progress in clean-up and reconstruction in addition to our volunteer activities.
The presentation will be a good opportunity to gain an understanding of the day to day realities and difficulties which the victims face in the disaster area. We hope that our presentation will raise the awareness of the true scale of the disaster, and look forward to your continuous support in the disaster relief and recovery work.

We have already received tremendous supports and donations from Qatar which we have delivered to the disaster area directly. We’d like to say thank you to all of you in Qatar for your sincere and generous supports.


Presenter’s profile:
Tsun-Taicho (Mr. Tsunoda) heads “Chonmage-Tai”, the support club for the Japanese National Football Team. This club, “Chonmage-Tai”, cheers on the national team with Samurai spirit wearing the Chonmage Samurai hair and its own version of Samurai armor, following the national soccer team to matches all over the world.
Following the Tohoku Earthquake of March 11 this year in Japan, Mr. Tsunoda, with the support and helps from many people, built a volunteer team: “Chonmage Support Team to now cheer and provide practical help to the victims of the disaster zone.
