The Ministry Of Municipality (Al Baladiya) represented by the Agricultural Affairs Department on 30 December 2021, has inaugurated the Flower Festival in Al Mazrooah Yard in Umm Salal Central Market in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Salem Al Yafei, Head of the Agricultural Guidance and Services Section at the Agricultural Affairs Dept, and Mr. Mohammad Ghanem Al Kubaisi, General Manager of Aswaaq.
As per Al Baladiya, the event, which will run till January 8, 2022, was attended by ten local farms, displaying seasonal flowers of various kinds and vegetable seedlings, with the aim of encouraging the public to grow, decorate homes and private gardens, and promote local products.
