"We are proud to present the "Doha Greenup Tweetup" as part of the Qatar Sustainability Expo - a showcase of environmentally sustainable programs, initiatives, plans and products in Qatar.
The Greenup will host locally based speakers who will share practical and useful information for the broad DohaTweetups community.
If you can't attend on Dec 5 from 6:30pm until 8pm, be sure to follow the hashtag #DohaGreenup for live tweets.
Here is the breakdown of the evening:
6:30pm - Welcome
6:35pm - Registration / Refreshments (tea, coffee, juices)
7:00pm – Khalid Al-Mohannadi, Doha Oasis
7:10pm - Tim Bouts, Al Wabra Wildlife Preservation
7:20pm – Diego Pinzon, Doha Earth Hour

The Qatar Sustainability Expo starts on Nov 27 and ends on Dec 7. Our event is on Dec 5 only.

Speakers:
Khalid Al-Mohannadi co-founded Doha Oasis with Ms. Al-Thani in January 2011, with the goal of creating synergy and balance between Qatar’s ecological system and national development.
Tim Bouts works as the Director in Qatar in Al Wabra Wildlife Preservation, a breeding and conservation centre for endangered wildlife, and is actively involved in the reintroduction of spix's macaws in the wild.
