Doha Festival City, Qatar’s preferred lifestyle and entertainment mall, is collaborating with Al Daayen Municipality to promote National Tree Week from 3-7 March 2019 in organizing several activities for children and adults on planting and farming.
The event is free of charge and takes place at the mall’s first floor Centre Court. All morning workshops are exclusive to schools assigned by the municipality.
In the afternoon, Festival City will conduct two workshops for mall visitors, focusing on care for indoor and outdoor plants and basics of agricultural soil. On Thursday, 7 March, Doha Festival City will hold two sessions for adults only from 5pm – 5.30pm, and from 6pm – 6.30pm.
Spaces are limited and will be offered on first-come, first-served basis.
The National Tree Week at DHFC is sponsored by DAISO, ACE, Giftshed and Quranic Garden by Qatar Foundation.
