Drums and percussion are provided and soon there is a unified beat as the session is facilitated “on the run”. For Desert Moon we will play a special version of the popular rhythm Fankani and other catchy African djembe rhythms, building to a rumbling crescendo as the new drummers bring their song to an end!

After a short break to socialise the drummers end the evening with a high energy “jam session” where everyone is encouraged to play along and dance as the energy builds.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Arrive 4.30 pm to register. Drumming will start around 5.00 pm before Sunset.

A location pin will be posted on the Whatsapp group on the day.

Optional:
Bring something to sit on (camp chair, beach blanket) and something to eat and drink. We only provide drums, water, beach mats, a small barbecue FIRE and ambient lighting.
