The Grill Celebrates Australian National Day
Grand Hyatt Doha celebrates Australia’s national day with a “Taste of Australia” promotion from 21 to 29 January 2010 at The Grill. Indulge your palate in the superb produce from the “Land Down Under” prepared specially by guest chef Mike Tafe.
Daily Lunch Buffet and Friday Brunch
The Grill daily lunch buffet 23 to 29 January, focusing on Australian ingredients in salads, cold appetisers, Arabic mezze, soups, carvings, grilled items, pasta dishes and desserts.
The Friday brunch on 22 & 28 January will be extra special as it highlights a variety of authentic products, including dairy, vegetables, sauces, cheeses, seafood, crustaceans and the range of Mulwarra products, among them lamb, Wagyu beef and prime ribs.
Dinner Set Menu
Every evening throughout the promotion, guests can also enjoy a four-course degustation menuintroducing the authentic flavours of Australian cuisine. The cuisine is fusion style which is identified for its rare, unique and distinctive ingredients indigenous to the country.
Cooking Class, 24 January
Chef Mike will conduct a cooking class teaching participants the proper preparation of steaks and grilled items. Participants will also enjoy a light lunch after the morning class. The class accepts a limited number of participants, so advance bookings are required; please call The Grill on 448 1240.
Australia’s National Day, 26 January
This day calls for a celebration and The Grill dedicates a special menu with a symphony of appetisers, two main courses of premium meat and dessert duo to cap the meal. Enjoy Chef Mike’s menu at QR300 per person.
