Summer is a season for kids! A time to have fun, play and meet new friends. They deserve nothing less than the best and there are a lot of ways to show them just how much you care! Pick the right activities to fill their days in truly delightful ways! Join the workshop pioneer of Qatar in the annual Summer Workshop and give your young treasures, refreshing learning experiences summer, starting 15 July-September 2010.

International Academy for Intercultural Development presents an array of courses covering Personality Development through Drama, Performing Arts, Dance, Visual and Studio Arts, Fitness for Kids, Handwriting and Henna Designing.

This is the fourth year of Summer Workshops with IAID, pioneering a unique summer workshop destination for kids in a conducive, nurturing and safe environment. Affiliated with the London College of Music and the Nalanda Dance Research Centre, IAID is an Academy for Dance, Music and Arts with certified and professional instructors ensuring strict quality standards to learning and performance.

Ms. Mudita Luthra, a reputable columnist at the Gulf Times is set to guide the young participants of Personality Development to discover their unique personalities through drama exercises and games. Mudita has worked with children for many years and this summer, she joins the IAID Team in adding more fun into the summer with courses Drama Fun for Kids (4-7 years) and Bring out the Best in You (7-12 years).

The Performing Arts Program covers interesting musical courses; Piano on Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Keyboard Ensemble and Solo Playing and Western Vocals. With the guidance of Emmanuel De La Rosa, a seasoned pianist who completed his music education in Vienna and New York, the young participants are assured of a rare musical experience. Adding spice to this repertoire is a seasoned instructor Chandralal Pathmakumara focusing on the Acoustic Guitar course.

The Visual and Studio Arts program offers a unique mix with Arts Trickster for kids 4 years and above and Twist and Sculp for 7 years and above. The courses promises to be challenging and fun as they dabble with various arts medium such as clay, terracotta, charcoal, paper clay, chalk and paint. Mark Alvarado, a winning painter and professional arts and graphic designer of various brands is set to patiently guide the young artists in discovering the joy of visual and studio arts.

Dance and Fitness courses are likewise available for energetic and enthusiastic kids with Aerobics for Kids and Indian Folk Dance with certified dance coaches Anna Gevero and Linette Thomas.
