The South African Embassy in cooperation with SASOL and Qatar Airways invites the South African community and all friends of South Africa to come and join us in celebrating the diversity of the Rainbow Nation.

We will be putting up two tents at the Doha Golf Club. The Intercontinental Hotel will be catering in one of these at heavily reduced prices. We are looking for South Africans to take over the second tent and sell uniquely South African food. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have something that you want to sell. We are looking for amagwinya/vetkoek, Pannekoek, Bunny Chows, Boerewors Rolls, Curry and Rice, Koeksisters, Biltong, Melktert, Malva pudding, Briyani, Potjiekos, peppermint crisp tart, fudge, pap and chakalaka, Jeqe/steamed bread, Umgqushu/samp, phutu, inkomazi/maas etc. We will provide tables and chairs for your “pop-up” stall. If you have art and crafts for sale,bring it along. Fire will be available for anybody who wants to braai.
We are also catering for the children with jumping castles and a water slide. If there is anybody who wishes to add some more fun to the children’s area (face painting, games etc) let us know.
