The Summer Program 2021 is an intensive three-week program with an optional week of portfolio classes. It is structured to allow students to design their own educational journey by providing them with an introduction to the different majors being offered and then making them choose one discipline in depth.
The course will begin with an introduction to four of the undergraduate degree programs being offered by VCUarts Qatar. The introductions will be given by the respective program chairs. Students can choose one discipline from a selection of four majors: Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, or Painting and Printmaking, which they will study in-depth.
Following all the COVID-19 safety procedures, VCU Qatar intends to offer this course on-campus, but based on government rules and regulations, they may opt for a blended course.
