Salam Stores, one of the GCC's leading fashion and lifestyle stores, are launching their Spring Summer 2016 (SS16) collection through a collaboration with renowned Qatari artist Noor Abuissa.

WHERE: The Gate Mall, West Bay, Doha

The exciting launch event will be open to the public on March 31st from 7:00pm-9:00pm at The Gate Mall, for which Salam and Noor have fused art and fashion in a museum-type installation called “The Fashion Dream House.” The exhibition will feature various spaces from a house setting (living room, garden, bedroom), using clothing from the latest fashion collections inspired by the season’s focus on pastel colours and Noor’s art to bring to life everyday living scenes in a playful way.

During the event, guests will be treated to manicures using colours inspired by the SS16 collection provided by Diva Lounge Spa, enjoy a selection of canapes from Eatopia, experience special pastel makeup applications by official beauty sponsor Lancôme and be treated to live music from the renowned Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.

The collaboration with Noor also extends to co-curating a fashion exhibition, which will give a nod to the season’s popular pastel colours, showcasing both her pieces and the SS16 collection. The exhibition will be open to the public from March 31 through May 31 2016.
