But they have also assumed many other roles, becoming more present outside the walls of their buildings. How are museums evolving and transforming? What makes a museum relevant and forward-looking? Ultimately, what makes a museum ‘great’ in the ever shifting local and global contexts that clash, intertwine and inform each other?
