A curator-led tour of an exhibition celebrating Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, as one of the most important and influential cities in the Islamic world.
Join this tour of Baghdad: Eye's Delight led by one of its curators - Dr. Julia Gonnella, Dr. Mounia Chekhab Abudaya, Dr. Tara Desjardins, Nicoletta Fazio, or Simone Struth. The exhibition reveals Baghdad’s outstanding heritage as the capital of the great Abbasid caliphs (750-1258 CE) but also of the 20th century when the city once again experienced a period of prosperity with the discovery of oil.
