“Japan Music Project” is a group composed of several musicians headed
by YAS-KAZ (Percussionist, Composer), which has performed at numerous
national and international events in and outside Japan with their
respective instruments such as Japanese Large Hand Drums, Japanese
traditional Flute, Shakuhachi (bamboo flute) and Koto (Japanese
traditional harp).

“Japan Music Project” supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, is
scheduled to be visiting Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates on the
occasion of the 40th anniversary of their respective diplomatic relations
with Japan. In Doha, the musicians will perform a number of unique pieces
a combination of Japanese sounds and Arabic tunes. Also, there will be a
short session with the members of Qatar Music Academy.
