The artist's filtering eye senses beauty and inspires shapes. This exhibition comes with a philosophy that is alarming the whole world against the imminent danger of waste, which Mohammed Al Atiq observed daily during his residency in New York in 2020. Inspired by Indian philosopher Osho, the artist challenged himself to extract beauty from the waste to raise awareness of this issue.
Mohammed Al Atiq was in residence at the International Studio & Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, NY. In his practice, Al Dosari uses simple elements, ordinary tools, and cheap materials to create pieces that explore the ideas of time and place.
