What: Advancing Arab Women in Technology

ictQATAR will host the second workshop for women in technology, titled “Advancing Arab Women in Technology: Strategy Made Reality”. This two day event will serve as a continuum to the inaugural workshop that facilitated the establishment of the Center for Women in Technology of the Arab Region, in November 2008 for the purpose of providing sustainable activities that support women’s full engagement in the knowledge society, including in education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.

The event will also include additional key business, government, education, and non-government organizational leaders approved by the organizing committee. Together the participants will further the mission and blueprint for the CWTAR by assessing outcomes to date and implementing key components of the business plan as it relates to established working committees.
