Although the 5/6 Initiative marks an important event in Qatari history, it also sparked a remarkable sense of community. For this year’s 5/6 Initiative, artists are encouraged to propose projects that explore intangible commonalities in our diverse societies.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Artists will only be considered if their proposal meets the checklist at a minimum.
• Artists can be at any stage of their career but must possess strong skills to execute the proposed project.
• This opportunity is for artists residing in the GCC (applicants must hold a valid residence permit).
• The successful applicants will receive a commission contract to execute the proposed public artwork.
