Timeless Restaurant promises a timeless experience to anyone that walks through its doors and delivers on that promise in more ways than one. The ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team had the chance to spend an afternoon at Timeless which turned into evening because we were so mesmerised by the place and the food. We tried out their new menu and the experience was exceptional and the food was truly amazing with the fusion touch that's made Timeless so popular in Qatar over the recent months.
At Timeless, it's always a good time to enjoy a hearty meal that's been curated and put together by the restaurant's expert chefs who know just how to blend different flavours from different parts of the world and come up with something phenomenal just so they can give you an iconic experience.
Choose the new Hot and Spicy Crab Roll that's packed with fresh flavours like salmon caviar and just the right amount of crunch from the soft shell crab and the fried potatoes on top. You can also try the succulent new Crab Salad that's mixed with a spicy mayonnaise concoction that takes the flavour of the shredded crab to a whole new level and topped with crunchy bits of savoury goodness that you simply can't get enough of.
There are plenty of other timeless and classic appetisers for you to choose from that include the Calamari Roll, the Yuzu Tempura, the Kappa Maki and each one is made by sushi chefs who have a passion for whipping up awesome sushi flavours and styles that will always evoke good memories.
Though the restaurant is most known for its Japanese Pan Asian fusion cuisine, you'll find a host of other international favourites on the menu with a Pan Asian twist like the new Gnocch Bokki which is made with different kinds of cheese: mozzarella, parmesan, brie, camembert, gruyere and cheddar cheese, and king crab to add that extra zing. Then there are the new Chilli rubbed Prawn Skewers that are grilled to perfection and served with a delicious spicy garlic aioli which goes exceptionally well with the prawns. Timeless has these new dishes perfected down to the grilled lemon and the garnishings.
Timeless Restaurant also does an amazing Butternut Risotto with Wagyu Beef Cheek that's unique and a new item on their menu. You'll love it, just as you'll love the Mussels with Cheese and Chilli. What a treat to the taste buds.
However, if you fancy a pizza, feel like some short ribs, crave for some creamy Lobster Thermidor, want some good old Mac and Cheese, you'll find these and more on the menu.
Be sure of one thing, when you come to Timeless, you'll be coming for the food, but you'll also stay for the style, the decor, the ambience and the great staff.
As you come through the vortex-like entrance that changes colour and enter the main restaurant area, you'll be completely taken with the interior which is white with gold trimming that gives the restaurant a timeless aura, especially when the sunlight streams in through its huge windows.
It's this unique contemporary decor and inventive design that provide the perfect setting and ambience for a meal that's as timeless as the restaurant itself.
Timeless is a contemporary restaurant with windows all around, so there’s plenty of sunlight and when it’s time for the sun to set, you can catch the different hues of the sky as the day turns to night. There are three seating arrangements: one’s inside where you can sit at modern and aesthetically designed tables with chairs or sofas and a live sushi counter, upstairs there's a semi-private space, and the terrace area outside which looks out over the Lusail Marina.
So, whether you dine at Timeless in the afternoon or the night, you’ll be treated to a spectacular view of the Lusail Marina.
