Life in Doha is set to get even sweeter as world-renowned French pastry shop Odette Paris has opened its doors here in Qatar at the scenic shopping destination, Tawar Mall last Friday (September 28) in an intimate launch event attended by guest of honour French Ambassador S.E. Franck Gellet who also led the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Known for their world-class, delectable cream puffs and other luscious baked goods, Odette Paris is bringing a new dimension to the growing foodie scene in Doha. Just this year, Odette Paris' Choux à la Crème was named as one of best pastries in Paris—in a piece published by Bloomberg, rated by top chefs around the world.
Owner Guillaume Jacquemart is thrilled, citing the long history between France and Qatar. "We're used to welcome people from Qatar in our place in Paris and we are happy to
introduce pastries entirely produced and baked in Qatar daily.”
This is Odette Paris' first-ever branch in Qatar.
