We are here to tell you why you have to visit this fine dining Pan-Asian restaurant and pamper your taste buds with Novikov Doha's limited time offer!
Novikov Doha is a novelty restaurant in Qatar, and though its roots lie in Russia, there's no Russian food on the menu. The cuisine served by Novikov Doha is Pan-Asian with a focus on authentic Japanese and Chinese food. Novikov was founded by Arkadiy Novikov and has over 100 restaurants in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities under the flagship of Novikov Restaurant Group, as well as in London, Miami, Sardinia, Bodrum and, of course, Doha.
Novikov Doha's interior is classic, but also modern. At one end are the reception and the mocktail bar, while the farthest end of the restaurant has an Asian Food market where you'll find garden-fresh produce from different parts of the world.
You will also find a selection of internationally sourced seafood. You can buy what you want from here at great prices. Behind the Asian Food market, you'll see the well-kept open kitchen where you can watch Chef Lin and his dedicated team whip up some great Pan-Asian cuisine.
Chef Lin is the mastermind behind many of the Pan-Asian dishes served at Novikov Doha. He's been with Novikov for about seven years and moved from the Dubai branch to the Doha one in 2019. He has over 15 years of experience and understands how to put together different ingredients and blend textures to create a dish that's unique to Novikov. His Chinese New Year Set Menu speaks for itself!
Chinese New Year starts on 1 February 2022 and it's the Year of the Tiger. To celebrate the occasion, Novikov Doha has designed and created a special menu of Chinese favourites that will take you on a voyage to the oriental lands of Japan and China so you can partake in an experience that is beyond excellence.
The Chinese New Year Set Menu is made up of different courses and each course has some of Novikov's best dishes on it. Course 1 and 2 come with a Toasted Edamame which you won't be able to stop eating till the bowl is empty it's that delicious, the Salt and Pepper Baby Squid, the Chicken Foie Gras Wontons, the Gold Powder Langoustine and the Black Cod Dumplings - each with that signature Novikov touch and it's sophisticated flavours that have made this international Pan-Asian restaurant a name to reckon with.
Course 3 is made up of the flavours that are the very essence of Chinese cuisine mixed together the Novikov way. The Typhoon Shelter Fish is soft and has a delicate flavour, the Tea Aroma Chicken is cooked to perfection in its skin and served with a sauce that goes exceptionally well with the chicken without overpowering any of the other flavours, and the Sweet and Sour Duck adds a refreshingly tangy taste.
Course 3 is served with Chinese Fried Rice and Chinese Style Egg Noodles that can be eaten on their own or with the other mains. However, you wish to eat these sides, you'll love them - it's as simple as that!
You can't end this specially curated Chinese New Year Set Menu without trying the Novikov Doha Mini Dessert Platter. It's loaded with Sticky Toffee and Date Pudding, Mango Pana Cotta, Vanilla Yoghurt-Baked Cheesecake, Dark Chocolate Fondant, Matcha Lava Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream and Mix Berries. Without this decadent dessert platter, Chinese New Year celebrations simply wouldn't be complete!
The Mocktails are something else and mixed with fervour by the resident bartender who knows just how to blend the different essences, fruits and flavours. The result is a phenomenal blend that will quench your thirst.
