Summer is here! Evident with temperatures reaching up to 45 degrees Celsius – yikes!! The only way to get through this heat and treat ourselves for making it through the day, is with something so frozen it’s as if winter is coming (pun totally intended). In no particular order, here’s some of the chillest spots in Qatar!

Haagen Dazs

Rated 4.0 / 5 - Villaggio Mall and seven other locations

Starting with three simple flavours in 1960, Haagen Dazs has been an appreciated classic right here in Qatar. With multiple locations all around, including new ones anticipated to open soon, it’s obvious no matter how old it is, it’ll still be the coolest around! Now it’s more than just ice cream – but nothing beats a classic scoop of vanilla, chocolate, or coffee.

Rated 3.4 / 5 - Souq Al Wakrah and four other locations

Started by Ghanem Almuftah, Qatar’s most popular youth activist, this ice cream shop is a delight for one and all. The first branch opened in Souq Al Wakrah before becoming a popular chain across Qatar. Many of the ice creams served are old family recipes that Ghanem and his brothers have enjoyed so much, they had to share them with us!

Rated 3.7 / 5 - Landmark Mall and five other locations

Frozen yogurt may have started out as a phase way back when, but it’ll always be a way of life here in Qatar. Pinkberry is a fan favourite because it answers to that way of life by serving up simple, delicious flavours with massive toppings. Take your pick, delight your senses, and live it up!

Asseer Time

Rated 3.9 / 5 - Landmark Petrol Station and one other location

On the go but need something cold in this heat? That’s when you drive up and honk your horn for the spot most popular for crazy-flavoured ice creams, shakes, and juices. We’re talking Kinder lotus ice cream, greeni smoothie and ibn batatah juice. Kinder Lotus? Greeni? Ibn batatah? It all may sound like “Whaaat?”, but it all tastes like “Whaaat!"

Cold Stone Creamery

Rated 3.9 / 5 - Villaggio Mall and seven other locations

Any place that can give us dessert and a show, is a cool spot to chill out at! Cold Stone Creamery is not only known for their ‘make your own crazy ice cream’ concoction, but for getting it done right every single time. We think their menu is merely a suggestion, for we urge the foodie in you to let your imagination go wild!
