Pani puri, golgappa or puchka - this popular street food goes by many names. It is widely eaten as a snack in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal.

For those who aren't familiar with it, pani puri consists of a hollow puri (flat bread) that is deep-fried until crispy, then stuffed with potatoes and chickpeas along with onions, spices and mint-flavored spicy water and/or tamarind chutney.
