In my mother’s words, you eat like a king at the start of the month and then like a normal person at the end because your wallet is empty. Not true, mom! Well, maybe she's right. However, you don’t have to survive on Maggi till you get the blessed message that your salary's come in.

Besides, cooking on a daily basis is not something we all love. We just want food that we don't have to cook and pay a ridiculous amount for.

Good food doesn't cost a lot anyway. And yes! These places exist in Doha. We live in a country that caters to all types of foods as well as all budgets. That's the beauty of Qatar.

Keep in mind that these are not places you can dine in at. And, parking might be an issue. So, your best bet is a takeaway. You can call and order ahead of time so you can go and pick up your order without any hassle.

I'm from Lahore and we Lahoris love Chanay (Chickpea curry). This relationship is on another level, one you can only hope to achieve. But, you can start working on it by eating Chanay served with hot Puris (unleavened deep-fried bread) for breakfast. And, Delhi bakery is the talk of the town for its Samosas served with Chanay. So, you can eat a couple of those for dinner as well. I'm telling you, writing these articles is hard work. You have to resist all these temptations. Ah! Samosas!
