Popular for it’s crazy shakes and juices, it’s take on pancakes, waffles and crêpescan also be deemed crazy. Kinder fingers, Ferrero Rocher, chocolate sauces, and pistachios are just some of the toppings listed in the short, but sweet, dessert menu. Can’t decide on a waffle topping? Go for a triple, where three toppings are next to each other to make you think you’re having three waffles. Mind, blown!

Tuile Coffee Shop

Where: Villaggio, Al Waab

Signature Tuile chocolate atop waffles overlooking the Villaggio river canal? Yes, please! Known best for it’s variety of chocolate fondant, the menu’s ‘crêpes and waffles corner’ can turn a frown upside down. Did we mention there are marshmallows involved? Ask any kid and they’ll tell you, if marshmallows are perfect for fondant then it’s perfection for waffles, too!

Dip N Dip

Where: Madina Centrale, The Pearl Qatar

The overnight sensation that not only loves your taste-buds, but your camera lens too! Many traveling foodies have noted in their Zomato reviews that the waffles in this Doha branch are just as good as the many branches worldwide. No wonder it’s the busiest shop in The Pearl, everyone’s trying to get a piece of that internationally-known, double-chocolate- covered waffle…but first, let’s take a waffle selfie!

Bagel Bar Coffee House

Where: The Residence Tower, Dafna

Popular for its nutritional facts menu, who would’ve thought crêpes can be deliciously healthy? Well, these ones are like no other, made fresh in-house with toppings such as fresh fruits and low-fat yogurt. So go ahead, indulge yourself with a crêpe and the house’s signature Irish coffee that won’t trigger any glutinous regrets later.

Sugar and Spice

Where: Lagoona Mall, West Bay

Rating: 4.4 / 5

...and everything nice! Vintage décor and a variety of desserts has made this spot a household name. It’s probably the only spot in Doha serving up red velvet pancakes. Yes, you read that right, red velvet pancakes! And it’s not real red velvet without cream cheese spread and mixed berries to top it all off. We don’t blame you one bit for drooling. (Clean-up on aisle ILQ please!)

Mokarabia

Where: Ezdan Hotel & Suites, Dafna

Rating: 4.6 / 5

One of the top-rated cafés in Doha, this branch has been outdoing itself since it opened. Foodies on Zomato rave about its crêpes as much as they do about its laid-back ambiance. Crêpes are literally matched up with anything, (including tiramisu!), which you can top off with any extras you want, as the long list on the menu allows you to. Your waistline may love you every day, but it loves you best on cheat day, so go make it the best crêpes day ever!
