The culinary team at The St. Regis Doha has participated in the last Salon Culinaire, Qatar’s signature culinary showcase that celebrates gastronomic excellence and creativity. The salon took place on November 12-14, 2019 and featured competitions, and live demonstrations dedicated for top local and international chefs to showcase their skills and artistry across various categories.
A huge number of chefs from different hotels and restaurants in Qatar competed in a series of live culinary shows, which were judged by a panel of international chefs from the Middle East and Europe.
The St. Regis Doha team participated in various competitions and was awarded a collection of recognitions, including three gold medals in the Live Cooking Signature Dishes & Best Hygiene, three silver medals in the Live Cooking and dessert category and four bronze in the Fruit and Vegetable Showpiece and Live Cooking Signature Dishes.
Commenting about their participation in the Salon Culinaire 2019, Mr. Wissam Suleiman, Multi-Property General Manager said: “The Salon Culinaire is considered one of the most important food and hospitality events in the country that is why we participate every year. We are very proud of our chefs and their amazing achievements. The Salon Culinaire 2019 proved once again our continued passion and excellence in dishing up world-class cuisine through our talented chefs.”
