If you’re looking for a place to eat this week with an interior you’re bound to fall in love with, then you must visit the Snan Food Hall next to Galeries Lafayette at Katara Cultural Village. It’s a temporary venue at the moment and is part of the S’hail – Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition which is running from 7 September to 11 September 2021.

The building that houses the Snan Food Hall is made of wrought iron and glass so when you enter, you can’t help but be mesmerised by the stunning interior. There’s lots of light coming in through the huge glass windows which is complemented with the wrought iron framing. At the far end of the hall is a beautiful grand staircase with wrought iron railings that leads to a separate area upstairs which is currently under construction, and right in the middle of the hall, there is a huge centrepiece decorated with all kinds of colourful flowers which will draw your attention.
Don’t forget to look up and marvel at the colourful mosaic tiled ceiling that exudes luxury, elegance and gives you a feeling of being in Europe. It’s beautiful and one of the main features of the Snan Food Hall that will captivate your attention so much, you’ll find yourself gazing up again and again during the time you’re there.
Set in the backdrop of S’hail as part of the festivities, the Snan Food Hall is a great place to hang out and grab a bite to eat before or after you’ve visited the huge Falcon exhibition.
The food outlets at the Snan Food Hall are some of the most popular coffee and eating spots in Doha. When you enter the hall, the first kiosk on the right belongs to OCA which is known for its desserts like the waffle in a cup, French toast, homemade croissants, cookies and its hot and cold beverages.
Continue walking and you’ll find the W Café from W Doha where you will find healthy and vegan options for a light meal like a sandwich, salad or poke bowl. They also serve delicious Asian style tacos and their unique cube croissants which taste as good as they look.
Lulu’s Bakery is situated right next to the W Café and here you’ll find their delicious cakes, pastries and beverages. Definitely not one to be missed.
Just under the grand stairs, Flat White serves its famous coffees (hot and iced) along with a selection of wraps, desserts and more. A great place to get your coffee fix.
On the right side of the Snan Food Hall after the grand stairs, you can find a few kiosks that are dedicated to the Wahaj Catering which prides itself on crafting and serving timeless food items like burritos, tacos, pizzas and rotisserie chicken which is a hot favourite.
The Qinwan Dates kiosk is situated next to Al Wahaj and specialises in some of the best dates in Qatar.
The last kiosk in the hall belongs to İstinye Kahvecisi where you can order your favourite Turkish snacks like pides, simits, salads and one of the best Turkish coffees in town!
The colourful variety of flowers that make up the centre of the beautiful Snan Food Hall are on sale. Take your pick and choose which flowers you want to gift a loved one or make the centrepiece of your home and someone in the hall will assist you. Amazing right?!
