Spearheading Doha’s food offerings, the city’s favourite baked goods hotspot has come together in a partnership that will see more sweet and savoury treats put smiles on the faces of guests visiting both Safahat Coffee Bar & Bakehouse, and the main restaurant at the Qatar National Library (QNL).
In an exciting – and delicious – agreement, Halo Bakery & Café has signed as the official operator of the two food locations, bringing its track record of operational excellence to the forefront once more.
Nejoud Al-Jehani, Founder and Owner of Halo Bakery & Café, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Naimi, Chief Executive Officer of AMLAK Holding, made the agreement official at a signing ceremony in February that took place at Qatar Foundation.
The new venture is in line with Halo’s mission to support the local ecosystem grow through exchange of knowledge and experience. Halo is proud to support QNL’s values of Education and lifelong learning, Open Access, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.
Halo’s vision is to disrupt the local bakery scene by allowing customers to indulge in a quality and unique experience through delicious, hand-crafted, and contemporary creations. Halo aims to operate each of the food venues to the highest standard and in line with each of their target markets.
Safahat Coffee Bar & Bakehouse not only includes customer favourites with bakery items but also new grab ‘n’ go salads and sandwiches. Located in the state-of-the-art Qatar National Library, Safahat caters to knowledge-hungry library visitors and Qatar Foundation faculty members that are looking for an easy go-to spot to have quality food and beverages.
Whilst QNL’s namesake restaurant introduces a crowd-pleasing menu to cater for families and students. Both food venues are open from Sunday to Thursday, 8 am to 8 pm and are available for delivery across Qatar Foundation through its exclusive partnership with Snoonu.
Since 2018, Halo has been operating in multiple major retail outlets across the country with branches in the Pearl-Qatar, the Gate Mall and Villaggio Mall.
