Who doesn’t love the comforting sweetness of a cookie? The ILQ team couldn’t resist whipping up a batch of these delectable chocolate chip ones courtesy of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF). Check out our video above and find the full recipe below!

Stir all the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda, rolled oats) in a large mixing bowl.

Add:

· 1 slightly beaten egg

· ½ cup butter (melted slightly in the microwave)

· 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or powder

Mix wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients. Use the back of a large spoon to work it all together. You may even need to use your hands to get everything incorporated.

Then roll the cookie dough into 1 ½ -inch balls, place on a parchment-covered baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes in a pre-heated 350-degree Celsius oven.

Let us know how your cookies turn out in the comment section below and don’t forget to give us a like and a share – it keeps us going! We hope to see you out at QIFF this weekend!
