The Embassy of India, Doha, announced in a tweet on 27 August 2020 that the Qatar-India flights have been extended till 31 October 2020 or till the resumption of scheduled services, whichever is earlier.

As per the arrangement, both Indian and Qatari carriers will be permitted to operate flights between India and Qatar and carry the following categories of persons on such flights.
The designated airlines of both the sides will be permitted to sell tickets between India and Qatar in each direction through their websites, sales agents and global distribution systems (GDS).
The Embassy of India, Doha, had released a statement on August 14, 2020, stating that India and Qatar have reached an agreement to facilitate travel between the two countries from August 18 to August 31, 2020.
