The Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted an important explanation from the Qatari Embassy in Greece this evening after the Greek government allowed Qatari citizens to enter its territory and exempted them from quarantine.

The Qatari Embassy to Greece noted that on the basis of the Greek Government's decision to ease precautionary measures and allow Qatari citizens to enter Greek territory and exempt them from quarantine, the following should be followed:

  • Fill out the PLF form on the travel.gov.gr website
  • Produce a certificate proving vaccination against COVID-19, which is issued in English from a recognized official hospital and that it has passed the second dose of the vaccine for 14 days and is mentioned in the passenger's data as in his identification papers.
  • Those who are exempt from COVID-19 must produce a certificate of illness provided that two months have passed.
  • For those who have not received the vaccine, they must perform a PCR test 72 hours before travel and the result is negative.
  • All passengers are subject to rapid inspection at Greece's airports and are obliged to comply with all precautionary measures and procedures there.
  • The Embassy advises all passengers to coordinate with the airline in accordance with its procedures and to comply with the precautionary measures imposed in Greece.
