Over 500 COVID-19 violations on 5 June 2021

The designated authorities referred 418 people to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory. In addition, 85 people were prosecuted for not maintaining safe physical distancing, 5 people for violating home quarantine requirements, 4 persons for violating the number of passengers permitted in a vehicle, and 12 people for not installing the EHTERAZ app.

The measure is in line with the Cabinet decision, Decree-Law No. 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The designated authorities called on the public to adhere to the precautionary measures in place to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
