The Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with Primary Health Care Corporation, Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance, Laboratories, and Qatar University, will operate drive through swabbing hubs for COVID-19 at three PHCC health centres for two days, as announced in a post in PHCC's Twitter account.

The aim of this exercise is to conduct a community survey and gain more insight into community transmission and asymptomatic cases, which will, in turn, inform policy decisions. These temporary drive through swabbing hubs are by referral-only.

The drive through COVID-19 survey will involve a group of 2,500 members of the public and this unique study will allow better understanding of the flow of the virus in the community and so as to adapt responses to the scientific findings.

Participants for the test referral-only services will be randomly selected based on age, gender, and ethnicity. The invitation doesn't mean you are suspect COVID-19 patient and participation is entirely voluntary.
