The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) on its website has announced that within the Ministry's mission to provide a safe school environment and in line with the recent developments and decisions to reduce some precautionary measures in the country, the Ministry decided, as of Sunday, March 20, to implement the following:

  • Students aged 12 years and under no longer need to wear face masks in all public and private schools and kindergartens, and those who wish to wear it can continue to do so.
  • Continuing to conduct the home antigen rapid test for non-vaccinated and unrecovered students on a weekly basis, according to the pre-established procedures.

The Ministry also called on all students to continue to adhere to all other precautionary measures, and the Ministry takes this opportunity to affirm its full concern for their safety and its commitment to continuing the educational process in a manner that is appropriate to all circumstances and developments.
