The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has announced that COVID-19 recovered patients who have been infected in the last 12 months are entitled to the same privileges as vaccinated people under the current COVID-19 restrictions.

• To prove their recovered status, individuals can show the recovered date on their Ehteraz application to staff to enable them to access the same privileges as the vaccinated people.

• From 1 February, the duration of validity of COVID-19 immunity will be reduced to 9 months, for both recovered patients and vaccinated people (9 months following the second dose).
