The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has announced the opening of volunteering for its employees to combat coronavirus (Covid-19).
The initiative comes under the directions of H.E. QOC President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani. The QOC has offered to support the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) by providing the expertise and resources of its team to volunteer in limiting the spread of the novel coronavirus. The initiative is based on the principle of Olympic values and social responsibility, in addition to enhancing the spirit of solidarity and cooperation between members of society.
The initiative has received a great response from the staff of the QOC in the spirit of responsibility and keenness of all to contribute to preventing and limiting the spread of the coronavirus in society.
