It stressed the importance of facilitating procedures for entry and exit of commodities to and from ports and to the industrial area, and from the industrial area to sale outlets. The meeting also stressed the importance of supporting productive companies operating in the food sectors, especially those that are working in poultry and vegetables, providing support in customs duties on production inputs.
Attendees emphasized the readiness of the private sector to participate in strategic stock plans. They praised Takatuf Initiative launched by the Qatar Chamber, which aims to encourage all its members from the private sector, public shareholding companies, and businessmen to participate in supporting the state's efforts to curb the spread of the Coronavirus.
