The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today announced the registration of four new infections with the Coronavirus (Covid 2019) in the State of Qatar, including two Qatari citizens and two expats - bringing total to 7. They were among the citizens evacuated from Iran on a government-chartered plane on February 27, 2020 and have been under full quarantine since then.
A statement from the ministry said the infected were admitted to the Communicable Disease Center and kept under complete isolation and are in stable condition.
The Ministry of Public Health also confirmed that the patients have not had contact with community members since their arrival, and the outbreaks of the disease in the State of Qatar are still low.
