Qatar Charity launches #RescueMission 2020 to support people affected by Covid-19

Qatar Charity (QC) has launched an initiative under hashtag #RescueMission, in cooperation with Qatari youth initiatives, as part of a campaign to face Corona "Human Call" to contribute to helping and saving lives of thousands of people affected by the corona pandemic around the world.

The initiative aims to raise one million Qatari riyals to help the affected people of corona, from seven youth initiatives, as well as contribute to the humanitarian efforts undertaken by Qatar Charity to enable the most vulnerable to overcome these conditions, and support the health sector in 34 countries around the world to withstand this pandemic and curb its spread.

These initiatives compete in carrying out their mission to collect large and urgent financial contributions to reach largest number of people affected by the pandemic.

Qatar Charity invites philanthropists to participate by donating to affected groups, which suffer due to the challenges imposed by the pandemic, and because of which many groups have been affected and are finding it difficult to get their necessary daily needs.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid 19), Qatar Charity has supported efforts to combat the spread of the corona pandemic in 34 countries around the world through its field offices.

Qatar Charity has been able to provide relief assistance to the affected people in these countries, so far, about 1,422,679 benefited of the most vulnerable groups. The aid distributed in coordination with the concerned authorities includes medical and preventive devices and equipment and the necessary materials.
