As Qatar's new COVID-19 cases hit over 400 on Thursday, the Ministry of Interior has increased patrols to ensure compliance with COVID-19 precautionary measures.

A patrol team was deployed at the entrance of the Sealine Beach to monitor the people heading to the beach and desert if they were following the wearing of a mask and the allowed number of people in a vehicle, as reported by Qatar Tribune.
The revised COVID-19 restrictions also take effect today after it was announced Wednesday night during the Cabinet meeting and joint press conference of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management. During the press conference, Brigadier General Abdullah Khalifa Al Muftah from the Ministry of Interior mentioned that police patrols will be intensified to catch people violating the precautionary measures.
