185 people referred to Public Prosecution for not wearing masks

Ministry of Interior reported on January 9, that the authorities have referred 185 people to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks.

The competent authorities called on the public to adhere to the precautionary and preventive decisions in force to protect them and others from the spread of the Coronavirus in society.

What are the COVID-19 Precautionary Measures in Qatar?

1. Only 4 passengers including the driver allowed in a vehicle, families exempted

2. Masks are compulsory in a car

3. Compulsory to wear face masks when leaving the house - wear it or get fined 200,000 riyals

These actions are taken as part of the continuing efforts of the competent authorities at the Ministry of Interior to ensure compliance with preventive and precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.
