The Ministry of Public Health has announced Friday night that it has updated its Travel and Return Policy Exceptional Red List Countries following the emergence of a new COVID-19 variant in Africa. The changes come into immediate effect.

Ten countries were previously listed on the Exceptional Red List. It has now been updated to 16 countries. Indonesia was added to the Exceptional Red List on 29 November 2021.
