All you need to know about the Lusail COVID-19 Drive-Through PCR Test Center

According to the Ministry of Public Health, starting tomorrow Thursday 6 January at 4 pm, a new Drive-Through Testing Center will open in Lusail to significantly expand capacity and enhance accessibility for COVID-19 swabbing. It will be located opposite Lusail Circuit.

The new 10-lane in-vehicle screening center will provide only PCR test, and not the Rapid Antigen test that PHCC will continue to provide.

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has also announced a set of updates to its COVID-19 testing protocol to enhance access to COVID-19 tests and ensure tests are processed in the most efficient and effective manner.

Open 7 days a week from 8 am to 10 pm

Lusail Drive-Through PCR Test Price

PCR test only, not rapid antigen test
People 50 years and above with signs and symptoms of COVID-10 (free of charge)
People 50 years and above who are in close contact with a confirmed case (free of charge)
Pre-travel PCR (QR 160 by credit card only and you must provide proof of travel)

Lusail Drive-Through PCR Test Result

The result of PCR tests at the Lusail Drive-Through Center will be delivered within 24-48 hours via SMS link.
Post-travel COVID-19 tests are now all done by rapid antigen tests, therefore post-travel testing is not available at the Lusail Drive-Through.

Lusail Drive-Through PCR Test Requirements

User of the Lusail Drive-Through Center must bring a valid health card and must have a green ehteraz status.
Pationets with a positive RAQ result do not require a confirmatory PCR test and will not be accepted at the Lusail Drive-Through.
Maximum occupancy of 4 passengers in each vehicle, no buses accepted.
Lusail Drive-Through does not offer results for patients who have recently been tested elsewhere.
