The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), in a memo dated 16 January 2022, from the Healthcare Facilities Licensing & Accreditation Department, has said that COVID-19 tests will be continued in approved health care facilities as follows:

First: PCR tests:

• Covid-19 Pretravel certificates.

Second: Rapid Ag tests:

• Returning from travel.
• All patients requiring daycare or inpatient intervention or procedure.
• All patients suspected of having COVID-19 symptoms.

All private health care facilities shall abide to MOPH infection prevention and control guidelines.

All private health care facilities shall abide Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) protocols and guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 testing measures.
